Bahia Negra: Una imersion em la cultura afro-brasileña – Excursión

The tour is aimed to those people who have an interest and desire to immerse themselves a bit more in Afro culture and religion: we will visit a Babalorixá to understand a bit more and build a straight interaction with Candomblé. After that, we will continue towards the master of capoeira, and if are lucky we will be able to appreciate an essay of the students. There you can exchange some information and know the peculiarities of this sport and fight so characteristic of Brazil and Bahia. Then, we will use a public transportation to go to the largest and most traditional fair of Salvador and neighboring cities, the “São Joaquim Fair”. An exotic and unique fair, a wonderful place to have a real interaction with the Soteropolitan people, taste the spices and secrets of the local culture and observe the huge variety of tents directed to the Afro-Brazilian Cults.
