Bike Tour: Lower City – Tour

The Lower City is separated from the other part of Salvador by a geological fault of about 70 meters as can be seen from the Lacerda Elevator. Being mostly flat, the Lower City host some important postcards of Salvador, such as the Bonfim’s Church which is the destination of one of the most traditional festivals of Bahia and marked by the religious syncretism.

The route between Ribeira and Bonfim is all by the coastline that has beautiful landscapes with enormous potential for wonderful photographs, without mention the sunset. In addition to all this, the Lower Town is known for have a great concentration of bars and restaurants specializing in seafood and one of the most famous ice cream parlor of the city.
