Península de Maraú – Land & Ocean – Package

Get to know a paradise in the south of Bahia and enjoy the pleasures that nature has to offer! A real ecological sanctuary with beautiful beaches, mangroves, coral reefs, natural fields, and woods from “Mata Atlântica” (Atlantic Forest) with a diverse fauna and flora and a great diversity of costal ecosystems in addition to several natural swimming pools. It is the ideal place for diving, hiking and also relaxing. It is your choice! We start with a transfer from your hotel or the airport in Salvador to the ferry boat. We continue our trip on “Linha Verde Sul”, passing by oil palm plantations, typical farms, historical towns from the colonial time, such as Valença, Itubera and others up to Camamu. From there, the trip continues on a fast boat crossing the beautiful “Baía de Camamu” (Camamu Bay). When we get to the “Porto do Jobel” (Jobel’s wharf), the trip continues on a 4×4 vehicle which crosses the peninsula towards the open ocean (15 minutes) up to the hotel. As we will pass by several landscapes and towns, you will have a good impression of life and culture in the Southern Bahia, thus this transfer is considered a tour by most tourists.
