The scenery of this tour is the main Island of the All Saints, with their stories, culture and people. We will appreciate the marine life of the Island in the context of the Community, entering the Mangrove and experiencing together with the “Marisqueiras” (shellfish hunters), a different and delicious day among native species of Flora and Fauna.
We will continue from the hotel towards the Nautical Terminal of Salvador where we will meet the native guide of the Island, who will make company to us during the boat crossing feeling to Mar Grande, on arrival we will drive by car to the Village of Mocambo in the Association of Shellfish where we will be received with coconut water and dehydrated fruits
After this first moment, we will continue walking for less than 10 minutes until the entrance of the Mangrove, where our experience with a totally rich and exotic ecosystem will begin. The Mangrove activities with the seafood hunters will be of a lot of learning and relaxation, picking shellfish, fishing and having a direct interaction with the locals. Then, we will make a pause for a typical lunch at the Marisqueiras Association, with fresh food taken by ourselves. The dessert will be tasted during a visit to the Artesanal Chocolate Factory, which has its own Organic Cacao plantation and their derivatives.
The second part begins with a historical walking mini-tour, through the Center and the Coast of the Island of Itaparica, including in the end, nautical activities (SAILING, SUP, SWIMMING & ROWING) at the head office of the SOMAR Social Project, which serve children and youth people of the Community and already has young athletes who compete representing the Island. We will return by boat to Salvador in the late afternoon.
